     Hello and welcome to my blog page.  I have been wanting to update all of you as to what has been happening in my life and in ministry .  So, I've decided to join the 21st century and create this blog.

     It has been a long, cold winter, but finally the sun is peeking through the clouds once again.  As some of you know, my mother has been ill and, as her only child, I have been responsible for her care for about 4 years.  My concert was held on March 18 as scheduled, and the money was raised for my missions trip - I am so thankful for Evangel Assembly and all who worked so hard to make the event a total success ... Thank you to so many of you who have purchased CD's and who have been worshipping with my songs.  Your support means more to me than you could ever know.  

     When I left the concert, I was exhausted and decided to go home instead of back to the hospital to sit with mom.... I couldn't sleep, however.  At 12:50 AM, I received a call to get to the hospital as mom was not expected to live through the night.  Jim & I went,  however, not in time as the LORD took her home at 1:05 AM.  When the concert was in the planning stages, arrangements were made for mom to attend.  I never dreamed that the LORD would call her home that same night.  God has perfect timing, and I know that she is rejoicing with all of Heaven in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.  AMEN !!!

     Although I did not take a break from my worship ministry at Evangel Assembly, I haven't scheduled any other events since March 18.  The missions trip is currently on hold, and the raised funds are in an account with the church until I am ready.  I am now praying about another missions trip - probably in 2012.  

     Lately, the Lord has been speaking to me about waiting on Him ... and so I am seeking the Lord with diligence, waiting for His revelation as to the direction that this ministry will take in the coming months.  I have so many ideas about how I think it should go, but I am totally relying upon Him for confirmation.  I want nothing less than to be in the center of His will.  If you should think of me, please pray for me during this time.
